Pointe Michel FC Crowned Boys’ U15 Champions Despite Final Game Defeat
2 min readPointe Michel FC emerged as the champions of the DFA Boys’ U15 Football Tournament in a dramatic finish to the season on Friday. Despite a tough 6-2 defeat against South East FC in their final match, Pointe Michel managed to hold onto the top spot and secure the title.
In a game dominated by South East FC, Taran George stole the spotlight with a spectacular beaver trick, while Jerrel Charles added two more goals to complete a commanding victory. Pointe Michel’s goals came from Sherdan Gustave and Zael Joseph but weren’t enough to prevent defeat.
With the title on the line, Pointe Michel’s fate rested on the outcome of the match between Goodwill Runnerz SC and NJFA Harlem SC. Runnerz needed a win to leapfrog Pointe Michel in the standings, but they were held to a dramatic 2-2 draw.
